In 2021 Monz Ltd became the New Zealand and South Pacific distributors and after-sale service support centre for the Coltri brand of high pressure dive compressors.

An Italian-designed and made product, Coltri has over 60 years’ experience manufacturing high quality, high pressure breathing air systems to meet the demands of the diving world. With seven offices worldwide and over 130 distributors, Coltri is a leading brand setting a global industry benchmark.

Monz Ltd offers a full range of compressors, from smaller portable models to suit the needs of the hobby diver through to the supply and installation of high performance breathing air systems for commercial and defence applications. As a result of the constant development and evolution of the company, Monz is also able to supply Coltri C02 recovery systems, Liquid cooled compressors and Nitrox compressors.

Working closely with organisations such as the New Zealand Defence Force, Niwa, AUT and The University of Auckland, Monz can assist from design stage through to installation, commissioning and training. 

Many established dive resorts and specialists put their trust in Monz compressors, including Volivoli Beach Resort in Fiji. “Our beach resort is acknowledged for its world-class facilities, and for being the envy of the global diving community. Our guests’ safety and enjoyment is our number one priority,” explains Simon Doughty, Sales & Marketing manager at Volivoli Beach Resort. “We have four inline Coltri MCH16 HP compressors as well as two membrane plants, an LP713 and an LP750 producing endless NITROX. This has set up what can only be described as an immaculate ‘operating theatre-style’ compressor room.”

Monz Ltd has a team of experienced engineers for ongoing service needs, including on-site and on board vessel servicing. Additional to the Coltri brand, we also service most leading brand compressors including Bauer, Brownie and Max Air, and stock a full range of spare parts and accessories. The age of the compressor is not a hindrance to the ability to provide a service.  Only original parts are utilised in the servicing operations.  

Monz supplies the Breathing Air Filters and Elements to suit the small portable compressor through to the larger industrial size compressors.  Should a client wish to complete the recharging of their breathing air filters, Monz is able to supply the components – Molecular Sieve, Activated Charcoal/Carbon, Hypolite and the Felt Pads required for the operation.  Monz also supplies the Breathing Air Lubrication/Oil for the servicing of the compressors.

All of these products and services are available to customers who are based in the Pacific Islands.  Monz exports both compressors and their ancillary spare parts and breathing air filter components to the Pacific Islands.
