The 2023 National Spearfishing Championships are scheduled from Friday the 21st of April to Monday 24th of April at Paihia in the Bay of Islands.

New Zealand's premier spearfishing competition is scheduled for April 21 to 24 2023 (ANZAC April 25)

LOCATION: Paihia Volunteer Fire Brigade and Village Green 25 Selwyn Rd, Paihia 0200.
Entry fees pay for the event and go towards the activities of Spearfishing New Zealand Inc.

Fish auctions will be held under permit from Fisheries New Zealand. Proceeds from fish auctions will go to the Paihia Volunteer Fire Brigade.
